# Gemini adds a business hub with Shopify, Xero and Canva links

> Google is rolling out a business landing page in the Gemini app, with connections to tools like Google Business Profile, Shopify, Xero and Canva, a saved brand style for marketing images, and charts built from…

On 20 October, Google announced a set of Gemini features aimed at small business owners, starting with a business landing page inside the Gemini app. Google says tens of millions of small business owners already use Gemini, and the new page puts brand work, finances and customer insights in one place.

Google says the business page, the new marketing and finance features and the new app connections will start rolling out in the coming days to all Gemini app users around the world.

## The app connections

The longest list in the announcement is the integrations. Gemini can now connect to Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace, and to outside apps including Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero. For a small shop, that covers the storefront, the accounting software and the design tool in one assistant.

## Brand style and marketing images

Owners can upload their website, brand kit, fonts or color palette, and Gemini keeps that style for later. Combined with Nano Banana 2.1, Google's latest image model, Gemini can then make launch and campaign images that match the brand without asking for the guidelines again each time.

## Spreadsheets and receipts into charts

Google also says Gemini can turn messy spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records into financial charts and interactive models in seconds. The post does not go into how it handles errors in the source data, or whether it can write anything back to the connected accounting apps.

The announcement does not mention a price or say whether some features need a paid Google AI plan.

## What to do when it reaches you

Connect one app first, the one you open most every day, and check which permissions Gemini asks for before you approve them. For the finance feature, start with a copy of a spreadsheet whose totals you already know, and check Gemini's chart against those totals before you rely on it for anything you would show your accountant.

## What we think

Connecting the tools a small business already pays for is more useful than another blank chat box, because the answers can come from the shop's real orders and invoices. The finance part is where we would be most careful: a clear chart built from a wrong number is still wrong, and it is more convincing than a messy spreadsheet.
